Pop-up post office in the Community centre provides postal and some banking services: Mondays 14.30 - 17.30; Thursdays 10.00 - 13.00.
Public Transport
Rail
There is no ticket office at Lostwithiel station, but tickets can be bought online in advance or from the conductor on the train. Mainline services between Paddington and Penzance stop here, though not all of them. For timetables, consult the boards at the station and either the national system at national rail or local services at Great Western Region.
Buses
The 482 - Polruan - Pelynt - Lostwithiel - Bodmin bus runs on Wednesdays and stops in Lerryn on the way to Bodmin and on return. For this and service buses stopping at Lostwithiel, consult the south-west section of https://bustimes.org
There is also a community bus, run by local volunteers. This is based in Lerryn, but always picks up in Lostwithiel. See the LAMA page on this website.

Cardinham Woods
This beautiful stretch of woodland caters for walkers, and information can be found at websites provided by the Forestry Commission and also the Woodland Trust. The area has facilities for cyclists too. Cycles can be hired for whole families, but there are also designated red and blue trails for mountain bikers. See the website of Get Active Cornwall.
