CANCELLED! Whitecross and District Gardening Club - Quiz and Mince Pies

Sadly, we have taken the decision to cancel The Christmas Quiz evening that was to take place this Thursday 15th December. The forecast for that evening is for freezing temperatures and, as you will all be aware, ice on the roads has been a real issue over the past few days. Most of our Garden Club Members drive down lanes to get to Whitecross Village Hall and these ungritted, small roads are particularly treacherous at the moment. We would much rather people stayed safely at home than risk venturing out at night on slippery roads.
 
On a positive note, we will keep the mulled wine and mince pies and serve these at the meeting in January. A little festive cheer in dark January is no bad thing!
